Why lenses yellow and kits come back
Headlight lenses are polycarbonate plastic, and the factory protects them with a clear UV hardcoat. Sun, heat and road grit wear that coat down until the plastic underneath turns yellow and cloudy.
Sanding the old coat away and polishing the lens brings the clarity back for a while. If nothing new goes on top to block UV, the bare plastic starts yellowing again, which is the pattern behind the shelf kits.

The tape line, before any work
Before a lens is touched, the whole car is wrapped in plastic. Then every lens edge is taped, so the work stops at one straight line. The photos below show the Audi RS4, the Corvette and the Maserati sitting under wrap with only the headlight open.
Inside that line the lens is taken back to clear and sealed. The Lifetime Warranty tier is the one finished to stay that way for good. Outside the line, paint, trim and grille stay covered.
Don works on one vehicle at a time, in store, Friday to Sunday.

The 1-Year Warranty version is $150 + Tax. It is not offered on every make, and the full list sits in the price section below.

Each frame stacks the car as it arrived over the same car wrapped and masked.
Tail lights get the same line
A faded tail light lens is handled the way a headlight is: taped at the edge, taken back, and finished. The pair on the left comes from the shop’s own gallery.
